The gallery, profiles, editor, processing and sign-in all got a major update.
Workshop
A new tool prepares PNG and GIF files for the Steam Workshop showcase:
• 2 or 3 rows, each one in its own file;
• long images and manga pages;
• a preview with real proportions;
• colour correction for each row;
• HEX 21 applied automatically;
• a ready ZIP with 2 or 3 files.
Uploaded rows stay separate files and are never cut again.
Colour correction
Brightness, contrast and more are now in the editor, processing and Workshop. Settings apply to the selected layer, show up in the preview at once and are kept on export. The panel can be collapsed.
Background removal
AI separates a character or object from the background. GIF and video get a chroma key.
New gallery
The gallery is now a real place to share your works:
• Workshop, Artwork Split and Featured sections;
• a new grid and cards, filters and sorting;
• a page for every work;
• editing your own posts;
• publishing without moderation.
Publishing works
Publish a work right after processing or upload it yourself: ZIP, PNG, GIF and video previews. The showcase type is detected automatically. You can add a category and a background link, make the work free or paid and mark it 18+. Free ZIPs are available after signing in; paid works link to your store.
Likes, stats and 18+
• one like per account;
• real download counts;
• stats for works and creators;
• 18+ works stay blurred until the visitor confirms their age.
Public profiles
Creator profiles now show their works, likes and downloads, an "About me" section and social links as icons. The mobile version is better too.
Steam backgrounds
Backgrounds, avatars and frames in the editor and profile settings load faster and scroll smoothly.
Sign-in and support
• Telegram sign-in is fixed: once you confirm it, the site shows you as signed in.
• Registering with an email that is already taken now tells you so right away.
• Sign-in forms work better on phones.
• You can reach support via Telegram or the "Report a problem" form.
Fixes
• The site loads more reliably and the tools page opens again.
• Steam catalogues no longer jump.
• The footer and long files display correctly.
• Better mobile layout, safer ZIP handling and per-user storage limits.
The extension is out
No more uploading showcases to Steam by hand: try the SteamShowcase Helper extension.
Thanks to everyone testing Showcase Maker and sending bugs and ideas!
