Build a showcase from scratch in one editor: background, character, text, frame, effects, templates and scene length. Tools on the left, the canvas in the middle, layers on the right.
H2: Layers
You can:
• drag elements with a mouse or finger and reorder them;
• rename them with a double click;
• resize and rotate them right on the canvas;
• hide and duplicate them.
Settings sit in collapsible groups, so only what you need is on screen.
H2: Fast animated Steam backgrounds
A background used to take 15 seconds or more to load. Now it starts playing almost at once, and a slow connection shows loading progress on the canvas.
Text
Over 1200 fonts with previews. You can:
• favourite fonts or upload your own;
• write vertically;
• add an entrance animation;
• use neon, rainbow, glitch, shine and glow;
• pick a fire or electric outline;
• change the animation colour and speed.
Text loops smoothly in GIF and video, with no jumps.
Characters that match the scene
"Match the scene" reads the background and tunes the character's brightness, contrast, saturation and hue. Adjust the strength, or restore the original colours in one click.
New effects
Pick effects from cards with live previews. 15 new ones: aura and fireflies, bokeh and particles, hyperjump and magic circle, glitch and scan pulse, smoke and embers, shards and pixel crosses, realistic rain, comets and star streams.
New frames
12 interface-style frames (pillars, crown, wings, arcs, tech, blades and more) plus the Shimmer and Grain animations. Pick frames by picture in Processing, Rows & squares and the design studio. On a split showcase the frame looks the same on both parts and lines up after cutting.
Other improvements
• HEIC and HEIF photos from iPhone;
• upscale can be cancelled;
• watermarked GIFs are much smaller;
• sending a design to Processing no longer stacks a second frame on top;
• the editor and home page load faster;
• many small bugs fixed.
